초록 빙하기의 기후변화를 단초로 선사시대 인류가 티벳고원으로 이주한 과정과 메커니즘은 기후학자와 고고학자뿐만 아니라 인류학자와 유전학자에게도 중요한 관심사이다. 따라서 환단고기에서 밝힌 신석기시대 천산天山을 중심으로 환국이 건설된 것은 우연의 일치가 아니다.

Abstract The effects of climate change in ice age to the migration of prehistoric human beings would be significant interests to a variety of scientists in the area of climatology, archeology, anthropology and genetics. This study remarked on the consistency between the records of Hwandangogi and the scientific results obtained from a climate change prediction model. The book describes that a primordial nation called Hwanguk had been present in a wide territory ranged from Tibet to Siberia 9,000 years ago. The period of neolithic revolution which occurred just after the short Younger Dryas glacial period was almost similar to the time point of the record, which indicated the foundation of the first nation in the world. This means the hypothesis that Sumer, the stem of Western civilization was originated from an Eastern land would be reliable. This article will review the research findings on the climate changes after Younger Dryas and migration of prehistoric human beings to support the authenticity of the descriptions in the record.
