이 논문은 두 가지 작업을 제안한다. 우선 ‘환단고기 비평적 편집본’을 만들어 보자는 제안을 한다. 그 방법으로 환단고기의 여러 수기사본이나 판본을 가능한 한 다 수집收集하고, 각 판본의 연와 성격을 규명하고, 각 판본 사이의 이독 을 목록으로 작성하고, 각 이독의 발생 배경을 추적하는 것이다. 다음으로는 환단 고기 에 나오는 여러 문헌의 원전을 추적하여 ‘환단고기와 관련된 고문헌’을 별책 으로 편집해 볼 것을 제안한다. 이러한 두 가지 작업은 한 개인의 노력으로 이루어지 기에는 분야가 광범위하다. 수백 명, 어쩌면 수천 명 학자들이 한 세기에 걸친 장기 계획으로 수행해야 할 작업이다. 이 작업이 진행되는 동안 환단고기의 ‘낱말사 전’, ‘문법’, ‘어구사전’, ‘본문비평’, ‘자료비평’(혹은 문헌비평), 편집비평 등에 관한 저작물들이 나올 것이며, 환단고기는 한민족의 성전聖傳으로서의 권위와 가치를 인정받게 될 것이다. |

| Abstract |
This paper proposes two tasks. First of all, I suggest to make a critical edition of Hwandangogi(桓檀古記). It is possible to collect as many copies of manuscripts and printed editions as possible to identify the age and character of each manuscript, to list of the variants/or the different readings among the manuscripts, and to track the background of each variant reading.
