| 초록 | 역사는 그 사회의 문화에서 창출되므로 역사를 알고자 하면 반드시 그 문화 를 먼저 알아야 한다. 역사를 접근하는 방법이다. 그런 측면에서 본다면 동북아시아 고대사 왜곡문제로 빚어진 작금의 한‧중‧일 역사전쟁은 고대 동북아시아 뿌리문화의 실체와 주인공을 규명함으로써만이 해결될 수 있는 것이다. 고대 역사‧문화의 가장 핵심적인 술어는 천자국이다. 천자는 최고통치자를 말하며, 천자가 다스리는 나라 가 천자국이요 역사‧문화의 종주권을 가진 나라이다. 역사에 기록된 최초의 천자는 치우이다. 배달국 14세 자오지 환웅천황을 이르는 치우가 천자라는 사실은 환국, 배달, 고조선이 모두 천자국임을 말한다. 천자문화가 우주를 통치하는 천제(천신, 상제)를 숭배하고 천제를 올리는 문화에서 나온 것임을 상기한다면 통치자이면서 제사장 역할을 겸한 환인, 환웅, 단군은 한민족의 삼성조로서 바로 그 문화의 주인공 들이다. 홍익인간, 재세이화는 천자문화에서 유래한 통치자의 심법전수로서 한민 족을 대표하는 이상주의의 표상이다. 본고에서는 이홍범의 『아시아 이상주의』를 고 찰하면서 천자문화의 뿌리와 위상에 대하여 논하다. 또한 동학의 시천주문화야말 로 상고시대의 신교문화를 계승하여 무극대도 이상세계의 도래를 설파한 이상주의 의 전형임을 논하다. |

| Abstract | The philosophy of Samsin or the Triune Spirit is the unique philosophy of Korean people. This system of thought consists of the spirit of the heavenly one, the spirit of the earthly one, and the spirit of the ultimate one, which respectively administer heaven, earth, and humanity. The spirit of the heavenly one is the spirit of creation that creates all things; the spirit of the earthly one is the spirit of edification that fosters all things; the spirit of the ultimate one is the spirit of governance that completes and governs all things. Among these three spirits, the spirit of the ultimate one, which is the spirit of creation, is the noblest and greatest one, because it is the very spirit which realizes the purpose of heaven and earth, namely, perfecting human beings into maturity. In the period of Warring States, the Samsin teachings of Korea was first introduced to China, and later during the reign of Emperor Wu of Han dynasty, it was developed to be put into practice through imperial offering rituals. It continued till the last period of the Western Han Dynasty. The categories of the spirit of the ultimate one are as follows―the main deity of the Star of the Ultimate One (Polaris); Taeeul Gugo Cheonjon (Taeeul Heavenly Being That Delivers Humanity From Suffering); Taeeul Supreme Sovereign that, according to the Cantong qi (the Seal of the Unity of the Three), leads the immortals who had been mortal humans to the central abode in the heaven; Taeeul Spirit, one of the noblest being, that administers the process of life inside human body, and so forth.
